The Little Seed Who Felt Small


Once upon a time, deep under the soft, dark soil rustling rustling, there lived a tiny little seed named Siya. Siya felt small and unsure of her place in the big world. She felt cozy in her underground home humming humming but was afraid to come out. She was scared to grow because she didn't know what lay beneath the soil or above the sky. One bright morning, the warm sun peeked through whoosh whoosh and knocked gently on her door: knock knock knock. "Little seed, let me shine on you!" it called cheerfully glowing glowing.
Siya peeked out but shook her head timidly. Soon, pitter-patter raindrops arrived tap tap tap, splashing playfully drip drip drop. "Open up, let me water you!" they sang splashing splashing. But the sun and rain kept knocking together thud thud splat splat, until finally, tired and curious, Siya decided to take a deep breath and trust the journey and pushed open her door crack crack.
The sun's warmth hugged her sizzle sizzle, and the rain's drops tickled her plip plop plip. Siya pushed through the soil, feeling the warmth of the sun and the gentle touch of the rain. She stretched and grew pop pop stretch, sprouting green leaves rustle rustle and a strong stem. She grew roots that held it strong and leaves that reached for the sky. With each day, the little seed became a strong and beautiful plant.
